This magazine is intended for use in compact sized XD-M Elite 10mm models, effectively converting the grip from compact to full size. After the first 2 magazines I noticed this little wire protruding from the loaded chamber indicator. I pulled it out and I realized it was the spring that keeps tension on the indicator.
