Update 22Jun2023: dealer's better mechanic verified the DCM module was the parasitic drain on the battery. I had called Subaru of America previous to register complaint. The Customer Advocate assigned to the complaint decided Subaru would cover the $700 cost for the new DCM. Part is back-ordered and we are waiting.He was headed to the dealership yesterday Tuesday, April 16 to go get his car. Showed up and they said literally 20 minutes earlier, the dealership had received an email from Subaru saying the 2019 model year would now be covered under the DCM extended warranty. So now instead of the cheaper DCM bypass, he can get the full replacement for free.
