Simplisafe sensor not responding

Why is my SimpliSafe sensor not responding? SimpliSafe sensors won't work correctly if the battery is too low, they're still in the box from your order, or the device is too far from the base station. Keypad out of range. Just like SimpliSafe's sensors, the keypad won't work if it's too far from or isn't paired with the base station..

This is odd to me since my situation is unlike the others because my Entry sensor started being "offline" two weeks ago suddenly after 4 years of being in that same location of my house.-Changed the battery.-Hit refresh-Did NOT change anything about my setup, modem location etc. So frustrating.Feb 17, 2022 · As for that persistent 'open' signal: it helps to know that the Entry Sensor works by detecting the magnet - the smaller piece. When the two pieces are within 2" of each other, the sensor registers as "closed". You might get a constant 'open' signal if the two pieces are too far from each other, so the sensor is not able to detect the magnet.I have read this entire thread. I just removed and re-added my sensors as well as replaced batteries. I have one sensor that blinks blue when I am prompted to add a new entry sensor and I press the button on the sensor, but the system fails to see it. I have tried adding the sensor in the same area as 5 other sensors in my living room.
