Nov 20, 2021. #1. Hello! I was waitlisted/ alternative listed at both LECOM-E and ACOM and was wondering if anyone had any insights to share on what or how the process works. How deep do these schools dig into the their waitlists? Dec 2, 2020 · Lecom in general is cheap, has good board scores and students match well. Downside has a dress code and no food or water in auditoriums. It's only 2 yrs of preclinical so it wouldn't be a big deal to me, (Catholic school grad), but some really whine about it. The cheap tuition would really appeal to me.About the SDN Ranking. I really don't mind lecom's dress code and mandatory attendance (i went to class everyday during undergrad). I wasn't too impressed with touro-ca coming out of the interview.Hey! I am an incoming LECOM student, class of 2024. I am currently PBL but I want to switch to LDP because I do not want to have a lifestyle of primarily reading for major part and having infrequent exams in PBL (1-3 per semester). I do also like the powerpoints to help me guide through and want weekly exams in LDP.Yes it is called the AIS (Academic Index Score), LECOM is the only medical school that does not technically require you to have taken the MCAT.
