The 365 is so modular. Get an xl and then buy the macro and micro grip modules and get some 10, 12, and 17 round mags. You practically get 3 different guns. I carry a p364 with a spare mag in a Gideon mag holder in my offhand pocket. 10+1 in the gun and 17 more in my pocket—pretty unbeatable for concealment, comfort, and capacity.Barrel length is pretty close to the length of a 229 but that is about it. That 365 looks like a P239 next to that P229. The P239 is very close in size to the P229, a touch thinner but not much. The P365 XL is between a compact and a subcompact in size. The P365 is just barely over one in thick at its widest point.The question is, after a year of use, do I think the P365 X-Macro is worth the investment?
