Just don't sweat getting every last drop out of each bottle you should be fine. Just double check with the dipstick. You should be good to go with that "method". Like. I agree if you are using synthetic then 8000 is ok but for regular oil i would change it every 3 to 5k miles. but you cant overchange it. so more is better:choppersm . Save Share. ... I think if you had oil present in the exhaust pipes you would be blowing quite a bit of blue smoke. Rejet the bike and you should be fine. Don't skip your 8K valve adjustment. :wink:This does NOT mean it has to be 10W-30. It should probably be around that weight/viscosity but does not have to be exactly that. If you are running the bike in particularly hot or cold weather, you may want to purposefully deviate from 10W-30.
