Posting this to see if any other GSG 522 owners have had the same problem. I'm using a brand name High Velocity ammo and have completely stripped the gun and thoroughly cleaned and oiled it. Every 2nd or 3rd round will not fire. It is feeding rounds from the magazine just fine. It is necessary to fill this frame gap so the sear will not wander over and lock up the sear / trigger mechanism.The GSG 1911-22 fits into 1911 holsters and the mags fit into 1911 mag pouches so in my opinion, the clearest place to use it is as a 22LR action shooting pistol.
