Xfinity cable stuck on welcome screen
May 20, 2020 · I powered off and on again. 2. When powering off the Flex box, I also unplugged the HDMI cable. After doing these things, I powered the Flex back on, while the Flex was showing the initial Welcome screen, take a battery out of the remote and put it right back, press Voice button numerous times, and I finally got to the next setup menu. Click the "direct message" icon. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon. Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
