The part number for regulator is 88825A 7 and it should have it own harness, if you dont have harness it should be marked on rectifier case. red to red on rectifier and yellow to either yellow stator lead. T.Look at the engine as a big air pump. If is it not efficient it will show most at low speeds. Your engine has a idle stabilizer, a black box on the front top of the engine. Disconnect it and set the timing in the water where it will idle at about 750 rpm in gear. Which will equal about 1000 rpm in neutral. ….

Any other wires that are on those terminals go to either an idle stabilizer or an "advance" module.
