It is probably the same reason as to why Tachiyomi removed Mangadex and other sources from their App. Is most likely cause of Kaokao sending a CD or legal action to remove Mangadex from their sources. So as a cover they probably decided to purge the sources and wait until the situation calms down a bit. Go to tachiyomi settings > backup > create legacy backup. Once you've done that, go to neko settings > backup > restore backup > choose the tachiyomi backup file. Neko will automatically add the mangadex manga list and ignore the non mangadex ones.

Well, I recently tried browsing mangadex from Tachiyomi and to my surprise, I was able to. However, when I try to search for a particular manga, a "no results found" tab pops up.
