The LMU-SMS PA Program seeks to attract and retain the best and brightest applicants whose career goals are consistent with the mission and purpose of the college. We seek to enroll students who are inquisitive, intuitive, and compassionate; possess a passion for the science and art of medicine; and desire to serve others in underserved areas.This statement distills the three most compelling elements of the university’s overall efforts: who LMU serves, what LMU does, and why: • Who LMU serves: “a new vanguard of ethical leaders.” LMU’s most fundamental purpose is found in the kind of students the university helps to form and the graduates the university helps to produce.
