I planted some Inferium Seeds on a block of Fertile Soil (from Rustic). Even after using half a stack of bonemeal on it, it's still at 0% growth. I think most people, end-game, use phytogenic insulators. Ok yeh I'm using a phytogenic insulator. Phyto is the way to go in my opinion. Very lag friendly too.

ATM9 hydro beds can't plant seeds. More often I end up with extra seeds, but for storage I use a dank on top of the harvester and crop essences get sent to my refined storage. Then every now and then ill reprocess the seeds. Refined Storage acts a little weird with reusable tools like that. I think the reason (just a wild ass guess really) is that it actually transfers the items to the crafter with that recipe in it, so that it's not in the system for the next craft.
