I dont own an LCP but I have a 380 pocket gun .(S&W Bodyguard). I have found that mine gets troublesome around the 100 round mark with dirty ammo. I just clean it thoroughly and it works great for another 75-100 rounds .seems to be common in these little gunsDo a thorough cleaning after each range trip. All of these small pistols are barely teetering on the edge of reliability because of how small they are. Even if you don’t shoot it, it’s not a bad idea to clean and lube it maybe once a month.
