No, T...To be fair to Matpat, the books do include mentions to things that are likely references to these characters (minus the minireenas, no clue where that one came from) which could imply that at least the idea of them is older than what they appear (think the melodies and balloon boy are referenced in the puppet carver and the whole jester thing ...All of it; he was always right and solved it correctly. Most of it, but probably got wrong/missed a few things here and there. Probably a lot but not all of it. Maybe some, but mostly probably wrong.
