09 lmm throwing p0090 code fpr circuit. I’ve changed fpr, mass air flow sensor, map sensor, throttle position sensor. Still getting code. I ohmed out my fpr wire and it’s good. I’m showing 25k-29k psi on fuel rail. I’m also only getting 2.5v-3v at the fpr plug. I’ve read it’s suppose to be 5v. any input is welcome. Jan 23, 2012 · P0089 and P0090 FOUND IT!! The connector to the fuel rail regulator had a wire pushed out!!! The way it works is the computer LOWERS the fuel pressure. So an open circuit doesnt signal the solenoid to lower the fuel pressure. pressure was maxed out, over 20000 mpa. ran like crap. made funny metalic noise too. Replace ECM. Symptoms worsen. Engine is hard to start, hesitates, blows white smoke, and is only making 2000-3000psi of fuel pressure all without throwing a code. I have a 2006 LBZ with 220,000 miles, I have the EFI Live with DSP 5, installed new injectors last year, blew an exhaust coolant line, the 4" incher that you have to pull evertything so when I did I pulled the Y bridge, EGR, cooler and totally cleaned everything inside and out. The engine control module (ECM) supplies power and ground to the fuel rail pressure (FRP) regulator. The ECM monitors current on the circuits to detect a failure. If the current is outside of the expected range, DTC P0090 will set. The ignition is ON. The commanded FRP regulator current is between 400-1,500 mA .Replace ECM. Symptoms worsen. Engine is hard to start, hesitates, blows white smoke, and is only making 2000-3000psi of fuel pressure all without throwing a code. When the P0090 code is present, the truck will limp and drive somewhat "normal" but still has a reduced fuel pressure of 2000-3000psi. ….

I have replaced the FPR and the ECU and check the wire harness continuity between the two. Truck will intermittently not start when temp is below 35 degrees. The only code is p0090.
